A unique and fascinating wine glass tasting demonstrating the relationship between the shape of a glass and our perception and enjoyment of wine.

Riedel will demonstrate the relationship between the shape of the glass and the perception and enjoyment of the wine. This workshop will take place on October 25, 2019, 6:30 – 8:30pm at Hayden’s Grill conference room.  Attendance fee is $75.00 per person, all attendees will receive a complimentary Riedel Tasting Set (three glasses – Retail value: $102.00).

The following award winning wines will be provided by Catman Cellars, “Micro-Batch Wines with big character”

2016 Pinot Noir (Yamhill-Carlton). A robust rendering of a varietal that has brought renown to Oregon’s Willamette Valley as well as France’s Burgundy region. Savor sumptuous fruit balanced with notes of spice and vanilla.

2016 Malbec (Rattlesnake Hills, Columbia Valley).  Loaded with dark fruit flavors as blackberry, plum, and black cherry, tempered with milk chocolate, cocoa powder, leather and hints of sweet tobacco.

2016 Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley).  With multiple medals in regional and international competitions, this wine richly rewards with a balance of blackberry, tobacco and a smooth peppery finish.
