Over 1,000 people come to our library every day. They come for many reasons. Your gift is a powerful tool in the campaign to provide enlightenment and information in our community. Because of gifts from donors like you, the library is full of enhancements that support a high quality of life and opportunity for every Tualatin resident. Any amount helps, all gifts are welcomed.
Thanks to your support and others in the community we (The Foundation) have been able to contribute to several youth oriented library programs this past year including
- Library After Dark which was held for each of 3 public elementary and 2 middle schools, with total attendance of 400 adults, 550 children, and 110 teens.
- 1000 books before kindergarten. The Library Foundation provided matching funds to support this new program which encourages early reading.
- Between July 2016 and June 2017, we registered more than 450 children for library cards.
- Oregon Battle of the Books: during this past year 496 books were donated by the Library Foundation to our local elementary and middle schools.
